After Krista’s husband Kevin is involved in a hit and run accident that takes his life, she tries to move forward without him while working to solve the mystery of who killed him. Along this journey, she faces surprise after surprise when she is confronted with lies and deception on top of more lies and deception. Her world is rocked again and again by all the secrets Kevin had been hiding, some for many years.
Every time Krista gets a handle on a lie, another one emerges. She tries to get to the bottom of what happened to her husband while trying to balance her growing animosity for him. Throughout her journey, she learns more about herself as a person and wife, and the changes she needs to make if she ever decides to have another relationship.
As she continues to try and find the culprit of the hit and run, she realizes she never really knew her husband at all.

This was such a fun read! I was so engrossed in the story that I couldn’t put it down until I finished it all in one sitting. The author did a fantastic job of keeping the culprit hidden until the final chapters. The main character was so easy to root for.
